Beach Commissioner's Corner

Hello AVIA!!

What a great summer we have had!  It's not over just yet, but Labor Day is fast approaching!

We are grateful to see how well the sand held up in and around the water this year after our reclamation effort early in the spring.

Just a reminder, the retaining wall is still in a state of temporary repair.  Please be careful of children walking near or playing around the retaining wall as there are some sharp metal stakes supporting the structure.  The BOD is exploring our path forward on a full repair.

As a gentle reminder, please keep it safe for everyone this summer season and remember to keep the boat speed to a minimum exiting and approaching the AVIA and neighboring docks systems.

Please remember use the Trash Bins for Beach Trash only to keep our beach area clean.  Please do not use these bins for your household trash.

Thanks,

John
